![]() Night crawling involves creeping into your beloved's bedroom and getting some action, but in a comical way. The torture mini-games basically involve you getting tortured when you get caught by the magistrates (Police), which you then have to deal with one of the Three Sisters torture mini-games. Personally I don't like these mini-games, other people don't either but they are there. There are other additions as well.like the man-pig torture mini-games and night crawling (Japan, please -.-). Managing your Dojo might be troublesome so be sure to recruit Sensei! You can also take control of your very own Dojo and recruit different NPC's by fighting and defeating them with the blunt side of your sword. Way of the Samurai 4, in my opinion, also boasts the best samurai creator than its predecessors with many face, hair, clothing, and accessory options to choose from and edit. In addition, they added the ability to open and close select buildings (Hospital, Language Learning School, Casino) which will effect certain routes. Most enemies in the game drop a Style Book, so try to find them all! What this means is that you can use any sword you like, with whatever move-set you want. Sword skills are now tied to Style Books, which determines your move-set. This one boasts 10 different endings and removes skills being tied to swords. WotS 4 is a more streamlined approach to the series with a few changes, and new additions. It's possible they might get in the way but having a companion around is nice. They will live with you at your small home in Takatane Village. Go out there and collect those parts! There is also the Bodyguard system, you'll find a number of NPC's out in the world or hidden behind certain requirements that you can recruit to follow you around and help you fight. I believe 3 was also the introduction of sword parts, and the ability to create your own custom sword. Drawing your sword can have different consequences depending on the situation, while bowing out of a scene will be like you were never there. In this game, you can choose to unsheathe your sword in most scenes, or choose to bow out of it, along with multiple dialogue choices to choose from. This entry in the series boasts the most endings, with a whopping 22 different endings and 6 variations of the credits, giving it a total of 28! This entry has many fans given the amount of replay value this game has over the others. WotS 3 is the last of the more traditional Way of the Samurai games, with skills being tied to swords. ![]()
